Join me on my very first video tour for Glittersnipe to one of Bangkok’s main food markets. Make sure to have your pen and paper handy to jot down some of the dishes you may want to try at your favorite Thai restaurant. (Some of my favorites are lab-pla-duk, lab-gai, kana-moo-krab, and the fish balls: yum-kra-po-pla. And for a more on Thai sweets, please click here. )
If you don’t see any of the aforementioned items on your menu then you may have been dining at a Chinese or Korean place masquerading as Thai, so read my article, Five Clues that Your Thai Restaurant is Fake, and you won’t be fooled again.
Planning a trip to my hometown? Check out my recommendations for the Sukhumvit Soi 11 neighborhood but get to Bed Supper Club quickly; they’re going to be closing soon unfortunately. The drink vans, for better or for worse, are increasing in number but 11 Gallery still serves the best food on the Soi.
Bon appétit and ทานให้อร่อยนะ คะ!
